SUPERVISORY TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

FAA REQUIREMENTS:

Drugs:

Supervisors that will determine reasonable cause need to have specific training on specific, contemporaneous physical, behavioral, and performance indicators of probable drug use.  This training will consist of 60 minutes of training in addition to the employee training.

Alcohol: 

Supervisors that will determine reasonable cause need to have specific training on the physical, behavioral, speech, and performance indicators of probable alcohol misuse.  This training will consist of 60 minures of training in addition to the employee training.

Recurrent Training: 

The employer must implement a reasonable schedule of recurrent training for supervisors that will make the reasonable cause determination.  The recurrent training applies only to the anti-drug rule.

14 CFR Part 120.115 (2) - (6)  - Drug Rule; 14 CFR Part 120.223 (b) - Alcohol Rule

ONLINE TRAINING COURSES
